are looking for a Director, Financial Operations to join our
Gallagher Bassett team!
- Leadership/Managerial:
- Strong, proven leader with ability to grow and develop
team
- Ability to drive ownership, urgency, accuracy, timeliness and a
process improvement mindset across the team
- Strong managerial skills
- Ideally, manager of team for 5+ years
- Ideally, manager of managers (i.e., managed people who are
managers of people)
- Process Improvement Skills: Strong, proven process improvement
skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills
- Excel Skills:
- Ability to work with large data sets
- Ability to utilize functions/formulas and other Excel
mechanisms to build new and understand existing processes
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to interact with clients, producers, account managers,
external vendors (i.e., banks, payment processors) and senior
leadership throughout Gallagher Bassett
- Ability to interact with teams across Finance to ensure
adherence to timeliness and quality standards
- Ability to interact with our Service Center team to ensure
adherence to timeliness and quality standards
- Strong written communication skills
- Proven presentation skills
- Experience:
- Insurance or TPA (Third Party Administrator) background
- Understanding of banking processesAbout YouRequired:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience
required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.Preferred:
- Master's degree and public accounting experience or CPA
preferred.
- Insurance Industry experience or experience working with a
