VP Drug Substance Manufacturing

Job Description:

A company is looking for a VP, Drug Substance Manufacturing and Validation to lead chemical development and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead drug substance manufacturing, scale-up, and process validation for late-stage programs
Manage CDMO relationships and ensure timely deliverables for drug substance batches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support NDA readiness and project progression

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred
15+ years of experience in small molecule process manufacturing
Proven track record in manufacturing process development and regulatory submissions
Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and chemical process development
Advanced team leadership experience with strategic vision
