is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Staff
Development - Infection Control Manager to join our dedicated team.
In this vital role, you will enhance nursing practices and ensure
the highest standards of infection prevention across our
facilities, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in patient
care.Director of Staff Development Duties:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs
tailored to regional staff needs.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and continuing education
opportunities for nursing personnel.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess educational needs
and improve clinical competencies.
- Mentor and support nursing staff in clinical practice and
professional development.
- Stay current with healthcare trends and incorporate
evidence-based practices into educational initiatives.Infection
Control Manager Duties:
- Develop and oversee infection prevention and control policies
and procedures across the region.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance
with infection control standards.
- Analyze infection data and trends to identify areas for
improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on infection
control practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement
strategies for infection prevention and management.Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
- Minimum 3yrs of clinical experience, with a focus on infection
control and education.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or willing
to obtain.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational
skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What Perks
