The Assistant Store Manager will work directly with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is well-versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and that our retail location attains operational standards of excellence.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail environments, preferably in the wireless industry, and be skilled in delivering an excellent customer experience, including an effective sales process, product and service knowledge, and the ability to manage customer concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.The Mobile Generation Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager has some great perks:

  • Working alongside the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in hiring, scheduling, and supervising a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
  • Meeting or exceeding personal and team key performance indicators each month.
  • Coaching/mentoring your team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensuring the assigned location operates under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in promotional roles, inventory procedures, or other duties as assigned.
  • Setting an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.We are looking for candidates with:
    • 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business.
    • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles.
    • Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
    • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
    • Ability to travel to various locations across the Midwest as business needs dictate.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
